they should make robby get a psych evaluation, and see if he really does have some mental problems.

Seems like he craves the spotlight and wants to be adored. He was definantly his biggest fan. IMHO anyone who speaks in third person needs a psych eval

If there is anyone reading this or knows anyone that has come in second place to Robby Rose in any of the larger tournaments and is willing to do an interview with a local news station, please send me a PM with your contact info and the details of the tournament. Thanks!

I'm sure there are alot of others wondering the same thing.

Maybe things got tight for him financially and he talked himself into it just that one time... people will do strange things for money. That's a shame.

Maybe you could ask him

I don't think this post will go away untill he has his day in court!
It's a slap in the face to the fishing community.
IMO!

I've been reading this stuff most of the afternoon & it is really depressing. I thought all the cheating in bass tourneys was over with years ago. I remember when a guy stuffed lead weights in a fish at KYKX tourney at Pines years ago..not sure what happened to him in that instance, although this looks like it may have been going on for some time which...Truly sad state of affairs.

So here's my question: Lets assume he was cheating all along... where did he get all those fish?!? did he catch them the week before and store them? seems unlikely. my bet would be that he has a pond or some other source that he was getting the fish from. thoughts?

what would be the right punishment for him? lets see what your punishment would be, i think he will get off with probation and $10,000 fine. just my guess!

I bet he did it the easy way by rigging his boat with a second livewell in one of the storage compartments. It would never get checked, and he could swap the fish from one location in the boat to the other when he found an isolated spot away from everyone. The whole thing really stinks. I'm pretty sure I remember him winning the TTT on Lewisville in 2005. I think that was the only tournament I was in against him.

i read a bunch of stuff about the BLT pressing charges because he was trying to defraud them. couldnt the anglers that fished against him that day press charges as well? they paid an entry fee and he was trying to defraud them as well.

That is a very good idea! I bet you 90% of the fisherman in that BLT at Hubbard would sign a statement. That would be what 70 plus statements or counts of fraud. Someone needs to forward this idea to Geary.

The big bass deal was only 500 or a grand! I had forgotten about it until all this went down. Im in no way shook up. Ill bet the guys who finished second in the big money are not very happy.

This guy needs to be punished to the max without mercy. So all cheaters will learn the consequences.
