Heading to Lavon (East Fork) tomorrow it looks like. Any idea if shad are still around East Fork Marina? Have some honey do's in the AM so may not get out there until 9:00 or 10:00.

A few shad showed up just before sunset last night. All small hookers and not much size at all. Did get some cutters after dark up in the very end past the marina but only one per cast and lots of cockle burrs to deal with.

Out from EF Marina ramp towards the pavillon we got some small hookers. Bait overall was small and very scattered. We got lucky and netted a large carp so that is gonna be our bait!

I saw a report on the Lavon Forum that they were catching good bait near Mallard park early AM this week.

Getting out later probably not a bad thing dpewitt. With the unseasonably warm weather there should be shad on a few ramps.Good luck on the shad and the kitties !
