I have been told there are no size limits on the spots, every one is a keeper. Also, that the smallmouth is 14" limit. The TD and I will explain everything you need to know at the Friday night registration and meeting.

Okay, then I'll catch all the 12-13 inch spots and let Jeff catch the big fish. I'm apparently good at that. We fished Palestine this weekend and if we could have weighed 12 inch spots I would have had four or five limits.

I wish I was fishing this one too. You guys are going to have a lot of fun. I haven't made a TBF tournament since the first state qualifier on Limestone and I really enjoyed that one. Tom I think the only way I am going to be able to make it to another TBF tournament is if you start holding a "last 6 tournament"...I am afraid I would qualify for that one every time!

Jason, maybe you could get TBC to send more than one team!!! I know some clubs reward their top 6 anglers by paying for the Top 6 Championship. But maybe they would let you put a second team together and the guys pay their own way. Just an idea!

Yep Tom that is what we did for our top 6.

I actually couldn't get off work this Friday even if I had been first place in the club. This stinking job is getting in the way of my fishing! I need to do something about that.

brandon h come on really 9 keepers you remember that it a 16 inch min. right, our pattern didnt produce, caught 30 last week 4 this week

they were really on this past weekend compared to last weekend. Went up the river on saturday and was really catching them in that creek that runs off to the right..clear water...cauught 15 saturday with only 3 measuring. Tin Top on Sunday along with everyone else I think and caught about 12 with only 1 keeper. Guy nexxt to me caught a 5 pounder. They were prefishing your tournament and said they had a limit.

Yea i know what the lake limit is I fish the lake on a regular basis I only live 20min from there, have won my fair share of tournaments there fished 2 tournaments there this year and had 21.11 and 22.?? in the other.

The cold nights this week should shake things up a bit, but I don't think that they will be too far from where they were if you fished this past weekend.

Unfortunately, I will get no time on the water before the tournament, too many prep things to do on Friday, but I'm hoping my parner will get on some while he is prefishing!!

Headed to Granbury this afternoon to finish up details with our local tournament supporters. Guess I'll have a little time this afternoon to get out on the lake and pre fish!!! Just kidding all you guys thinkin' "thats not fair" Thats who the off limits is for, you guys thinking that!!!! Things are still coming together and hope this will be a good tournament for our guys in the TBF!!!!!

I would be happy to police the area for you this week.........and since I would be out there I may as well "pretend" to fish that way no one would know why I was out there ......and since I am "pretending" to fish if I were to "pretend" to catch one and it clued me into something that would be OK...... right? Just trying to be helpfull....

If you head on up there and do a little fishing you can go into the main river and through the floating carolina rig and catch all you want.

Well, you guys told me that way too late!!! But, I must say, the pulled pork sandwich from the Pearl Street Station was quite good!

Had a good afternoon there yesterday. Met with our contact at the tourism board, they will be furnishing us some hamburgers from "Grumps" I hear they are very good! Also met with the Marina owners, Getting all kinds of help from them!! They have an awesome set up there and it is only getting better. Also got our Sunday morning breakfast/devotional time set up too!!! Now, I'm hoping the fishing will measure up too!!! This will be a great event for competition and comradery and if the fish bite too, this one will be hard to beat.

Very cool. Our team is looking forward to it. It'll be our first time to enter.
