you dream of fishing and set the hook in your sleep.
You know you got it bad when your wife immediately says "is it a keeper?" and reaches for the net in her sleep. I was dreaming about fishing one night, set the hook in my sleep, rolled out of the bed, hit my head on the nightstand and ended up with stitches over my right eye.

You have used your swimming pool for casting practice and studying lure movement more times than you have been swimming in it. I thought about that at a Halloween party. Everyone was like, you would think of something like that.

Why would you use a treble hook for a key chain? I don't think I would put it in my pocket!   SE Kansas grass grower

"You know you're a bass angler when...." The pull string for the light in the closet breaks, and you replace it with 12lb mono and an old lead bullet weight. Sorry, the closet isn't worth tungsten.

Your biology project in high school was anatomy of a largemouth bass. True story, I froze a 13" bass out of winnsboro lake in 1976 and come time to disect the fish, I unfroze it and took it to school. Biology teacher said he would give me an A if I would dispose of the fish. Which I gladly did.

.....You have two weeks vacation from work and all the dates you schedule are in 2 day increments on thursdays and fridays so you can practice for that weekends tournament!!

1. When I take my wife on a date and wear a shirt with my sponsors and name sewn on it because I have not shopped for (non-fishing) clothes in over 5 years.
2. When I iron my clothes for a tournament, but do not to go to church.
