Correct me if im wrong. if you had a sports team,wouldnt you do what it takes,to make money and to win? its like that in every sport. i dont see kevin van dam winning tournaments in a 72 falcon bass boat.i dont see kevin harvick winning a race driving a pinto.and dont see tiger winning the masters with happy gilmores hockey stick golf club.to be the best it is going to cost you.ask the rangers owner if he spent a billion dollars to bring a championship here if it would be worth it? just my opinion

However, Kevin Harvick hasn't been winning much lately. And, if the Rangers owner spent a billion dollars, he'd go even more broke!

Yes the NFL has the salary cap for the next year, We will see what happens after the first uncapped year. The Yankees did pay a higher salary than all the others, But baseball does have a luxury tax and the yankees are willing to pay it. But to say that they bought "another" title is silly, How do you explain the other 22 titles before "Buying" was the in thing?

Well it's not quite that egalitarian. For one thing, signing bonuses can be manipulated so they don't have a big effect on a team's salary cap. It's a way to get more money to players with less cap impact. And if you think all teams spend up to the cap you'd be wrong. Here's the top and bottom of this year's payroll: Oakland Raiders - 152M Dallas Cowboys - 146M . . Balimore Ravens - 93M KC Chiefs - 83M

I hate the Yankees, but there is no doubt that they are the greatest sports franchise of all time. 27 titles that is awesome, and just think of the Yankee greats of all time. No other team in any sport comes close to their dominance. Some stats on Yankee World Series appearances: Yankees have played in more than 1/3 of ALL WS Games. Out of 610 total WS games, they have appeared in 218. Yankees have WON more WS games than any other team has even played in. They have now 131 WS victories. St Louis Cards have played in 105 games. It goes beyond mere dominance. Like it or not, the Yankees own baseball.
