Fishing is hot on PK folks. Fish with me or bring your own boat.... just go!
Bait was a little tough after the rain because Rock Creek was very muddy. Lots of trash floating on the river end of the lake.I was only able to catch 32 big shad for the trip. The fishing is so good on PK right now that I was concerned that might shorten our trip.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Henry and Vic on this trip.Henry is a denist from Cleburne and Vic is a CPA from San Francisco.I was told that Vic was a fishing machine and that is very true.
We started the day right on time as the sun was creeping up. This was the first morning trip I had done in a while. We started fishing at the hump in front of lake side.Plenty of trees here folks and the fish were not biting here. The trees were biting and I was not about to waste bait on trees today!

We moved to the channel out front of the Peanut Patch and it was on fast an furious. We caught fish until we ran out of big baits losing count of what we caught.Vic and Henry had two 7lb fish on at the same time landing both. All fish but four gut hooked stripers were returned to be caught another day.
It was gettig late but we decided it might be nice to catch a few Sand Bass to add to the fish fry that Vic & Henry were planning later for there family. We stopped again at the humps between Lakeside and Sam's dock. Vic pulled out a cast master of his own and I tied henry on a Bomber slab and jig combo. It did not take long before they were putting it on the Sand Bass. Several other boats in the area doing well also.
Thanks Hery and Vic for a great guide trip and I hope to see you soon.
Vic I was jelous that you were going to Florida to fish for a week.
