Lodging:

Kamman's Country Inn - 903.489.1268 - This is a newer establishment and it would be the one my wife would want to stay at if she came with me. Gas station and deli open 24 hours a day attached to the Inn. Good parking for boats and outside (AC) for boats. They only have 14 rooms. All rooms are 2 queen beds. Their normal rates are $68.50 per night including tax. They are cutting us a discount to $49.99 per night (plus tax) Get your rooms now! Guys, this would be the place you might want to choose if your lady is coming with you or if you prefer a little more modern facility. If we book all 14 rooms they have that will be fine with them I am sure.

There are camp sites available very inexpensively at Fisherman's Wharf ($15 for an RV and $10 for anyone who would like to brave a tent) There is a dump station in the park and if you require a sewage hook-up contact Karen Hounshell at Fisherman's Wharf and I believe she will work hard to find a spot for you. 903.489.0710

Well, after a dismal day on Cedar Creek this past Saturday, I got back down there today and what a difference a few days of sunshine have made. The fish were very active and on a normal Fall pattern. Caught fish on flukes, crankbaits and spinnerbits. We are PRAYING for good weather the weekend of TBCOE. The lake is looking good, the water is clearing and I believe the water level is now stabilized. Here's one of the fish I caught today. This one weighted in right at 2.5 lbs caught on a crankbait. Just in case...this is only my second time on the lake in a year. welcome

Can hardly wait!!!!!!

Grant...I suppose we could sum it up by saying..."We are very grateful" that a LOT of great sponsors and individuals have stepped up to help make this Event come together in such a short amount of time. We still have other items we are waiting to announce once they are confirmed.

All of the work will be WELL worth it when we see all of the smiles on the faces of a GREAT group of BCB Owners. Thomas got this thing rolling and I have simply come along side him to help make this Event something "very Special" that many more will want to be a part of going forward. Honestly....It has been a BLAST being a part of this inaugural Event so far. Thomas has been an AWESOME leader with a wonderful vision and purpose for what he wanted to accomplish through TBCOE.

All we need now is some good weather, hungry fish and a BUNCH of BEAUTIFUL BassCat Boats!!!

Ive seen this boat in person. Its design is incredible. You can tell an immense amount of thought has been put into the layout of the boat. No space is wasted. Cant wait for my demo ride on CC.

Guys,

We have an angler who is driving a good distance to come fish with us in his BassCat. He needs a partner for this tournament! Any person that has good knowledge of how to run the lake and is easy to get along with in the boat, please let me know.

Thomas...I would be interested in fishing this tournament with him. Just let me know if he still needs a partner.

I just received a 'tentative' on my partner as well... I suspect his work commitment will override fishing... (not in my book!)... if someone familiar with CC would like to join me, PM me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. I've got a few things going on this weekend, so please be patient...

thanks...

Mike & Tommy... regardless of any takers, I'll be there...

Sounds good tcTX. I would think it might be easy to find someone who knows the lake to join you. We will assist as much as possible as well.

Looking forward to it!!

TDR_2 I sent my entry form earlier this week without a partners name on it. Charlie Davis is going to be my partner for this tournament. We will see you Saturday morning at Fishermans Wharf. I am staying at Kammans Friday night.
