Hey guys I was going to go to Hubbard Creek this weekend to hit up the creek there and may want to try to get a flathead or 2 because I hear they taste good. Just want some tips on gettin a flatty or 2 and some channels maybe a blue cat also goin to be using jug lines

I got a cast net to catch bait with also know a place to buy perch if we cant catch none and also got DK and secret 7

If anyone know some tips on catching cats up the creek there please help out

caught blues up to 20# on jugs along the creek channel about 300 yds north of the bridge ... never did much up in the creeks unless it was runnin' ... the area around the mouth of the creeks is good ... usta launch at peelers pier & motor down stream to where the creek gave way to lake ... also usta be an older couple would stay at peelers in an RV a couple weeks at a time & slay the blues up to about 10# on drop hooks/w treble hooks & punch bait

I've heard that there are some good holes in the creek from the 180 bridge down to the lake. I hunt about a minute from there and I've seen some nice fishheads hanging off the fences in the area.

thanks guys for the help I am going to be leaving lubbock in about an hour any last minute advise I would appreciate I am going to be at Hubbard Creek all weekend
