seen lots of posts with big stringers of Crappie caught from Waxahachie? NO Well, that situation still standing. Went to Waxahachie again today. Gates still open really churning up the water this am. Water 65-67. Caught 7 tiny Crappie off BPs and 8 small Bass from the creek. Fished the island BPs fished the Pipeline, went all the way to the old railroad bridge and nothing but the 8 Bass in the creek.

Did get to meet sloedown and had a nice visit in the parking lot before we launched. How did you do sloedown?

Going to Cedar Creek tomorrow. That's 2 days fished this week with nothing to show for it. Nice to come home and not have to clean fish but I would rather have the choice. I can always catch and release if I don't want to clean Crappie. eeks

Anyway, this story ends this week on Wax with lockjawed fish.

What I don't get is that you choose to fish Waxahachie over the greatness that is Cedar Creek there RTL! Why in the world if you had the choice would you choose the one that isn't on fire? loco

Hey RTL I tried to call Highveiw marina today to see if they were open or if you could get on Bardwell but no answer. Some kid answered once put me on hold then hung up on me. I tried to call back and it went straight to voicemail. Do you know if the lake is even open? Went to Cedar Creek Sat. and if your planning on fishing the 334 bridge I wouldnt waste the trip. the water is muddy as chocolate milk and I didnt get a bite on that bridge. The Caney Creek Bridge may be better I didnt go there. Have you tried Lake Clark? I heard they were catching big Crappie there.

Yes, sloedown is right, looks like the lake is in a blender the gates are letting out water so fast. Did you get your HD unlocked? I know how to unlock it if you did not. I forgot you got one of those. My Son has a new one, I bought him a 522 a few months ago and it just quit working all together. He sent it to Lowrance and they upgraded him for FREE! Can you believe that? All the bad posts about Lowrance's customer service is put on repreve with that. I am happy for him, I did a good thing.

Barn Door, Bardwell is still closed as far as I could find out, yesterday I had decided to try Bardwell today and all I could find out was it is still closed. I have not been on Lake Clark in a long time, forgot about it actually. Like that little lake, bet it is really full. We have caught some nice Bass and Crappie too there.

Fillet O' Crappie... I know, sometimes I am eat up with the dumb arse. bang Stubborn as a mule. I was just sure those BPs would give up some Crappie but I have never been able to catch big Crappie on Waxahachie except in the dead of winter.

Tomorrow I hope Barn Door's tale about Sat is not good for tomorrow, I am going to Cedar Creek. 3 days of fishing this week is gonna kill me but I am determined to get some CRAPPIE! Please Crappie Gods, smile on me tomorrow. flehan
