Weather down at Choke was outstanding the last two days. Fishing has been a little slow, but I managed to put a dozen fish in the boat on both days and fished from 6:30 to about lunch time. Water temp was around 70 degrees in the morning and got as high as 75 by lunch. Started each day fishing the grass line halfway back in creeks. Caught numerous fish on Senkos and various worms. Man I love Senko. They were actually Big Bites Trick Sticks, but they work great. Moved to North side of main lake later in the morning and caught fish hanging out around the Hard woods with Grass in close relation. Overall two great days to be on the water. I heard a few guys say it was slow as well a dozen fish seem to be the norm. Good Luck and keep the rod tip up

Has the lake level come up any with the rains we got a while back? I heard they were letting it out just as fast as it was coming in to raise Mathis when we were getting all the rain. Thanks in advance.

Water level has not come up. I have been down there 3 days in the last week and half and have not seen it come up. Hope it does we are getting a little low.

thedeuce,

How's the fishing been. Do I need to head to a different lake or stick to my home lake? I have had the toughest fishing this year at CC in a long time.

Thanks,

EJW
