Fun or not fun?

Not fun when in your lower back but I will agree it is worth it in the long run.

They won't work forever. Enjoy the benefit while you can, then consider the alternative.

Can I drive after it? I am getting one in my right knee right before a 45 minute drive to the promise land.

Make sure you get a Barney band aid after they are finished. It makes the "ow-e" go away.

CM yes you can drive after it. I've had a couple in my right knee, but they didn't work for me. The 2 I had in my shoulder worked pretty good for about a month each. Then I had shoulder surgery.

When the nurse was giving me the second shot in my shoulder she asked me if I was ok while she was swabbing alcohol on my shoulder, I told her I would be better if she stuck the needle in the correct shoulder. I was getting the shot in my left shoulder and she was swabbing the right one.

Was she decent looking? The gal that gives me shots at my doctors office is really hot. I'd probably let her cut a finger off if she wanted to.

Get them in my shoulders periodically. Don't hurt much at the time of injection and I usually get a lot of relief in the next 24 hours.

I think so, this was about 7 years ago, and I was in Kuwait and had been there a few months. She might have been a desert queen too.

Had a bad bout with bursitis once. Got a cortisone shot directly in the joint. Hurt like crazy when the doc gave it to me. But I've never had bursitis since, and it made it go away right away.

Depends...are the injecting into the fluid area or the tendon. Tendon hurts like a mofo but the fluid area isn't bad at all. The two I had were mixed with a numbing agent so they just hurt for a little while and then it was numb. Felt awesome for a few hours then wore off and was sore for the next day...after that you will feel like Superman. But don't over do it or it will come back.

I have shoulder and heel of my foot. The foot was some wicked pain and the shoulder was nothing.

Good luck and remember just because it feels good don't mean you are healed. Force yourself to take it easy.

Is this your hawg huntin' trip?

My problem is I dont take it easy. I never have really. The knee had been a POS for years.

RT promised me a good knee brace and flowers but he has yet to deliver.
