Hey guys and girls how is everybody? I need some input. I want to know what the best color combo is to match the hatch: minnows. I've got a few but want to know what everybody else thinks. All info is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I've never seen a black/chartruse minnow , but i have sure catch a lot of crappie with that color combo.
Having said that, my new favorite jig is a Rockytop superslab in silver glitter. Looks very shad like in the water

Like blue/chartruse worked at 1 end of the 155 bridge on Palestine 2 weeks ago and the same day at the other end, punkinseed (brown/silver/pepper) worked. IMHO, if you find a depth where fish are and you change colors frequently, you'll land on the right color.

Well it all depends TBO 2 weeks ago for Me it was char/blue early then the clouds lifted they turned to a pale pink We brought home a limit today they started with white and ended with white ,but size and profile were very important today while I experminted and ran the counter My Old buddy put 71 to My 37 in the boat in less than 3hours water was slightly amber stained fish started at 15 foot and ended up at 27 on Us they never would settle in I did manage to leave with My head up caught 2 at 2 lbs. on a cream combo with nickle head it all depends on the water.size and presentation is more important some days they wanted it moving today outside in on the brush.

Thanks for all the info. I dont think it matters to much right now. Ive been cathing them on alot of different colors and sizes, so you just got to get it in front of them. That and there scattered, I caught a few here and over there in the brush and points and humps. They cant make up there minds. I need to go fishing with somebody that knows more about crappie then me(hint.hint crazy angler)
