any body been behind the dam latly? it usually gets pretty good for crappie and catfish after they let out water.

would really like to know since i only live a few blocks away but have neve done any good at anytime back there

Well I might go try it tommorow since i got called in to work in the morning and can't make a whole day trip like i planned.

make sure you fish right where the wall ends, jig it for crappie but watch out because there is a rock there that will steal every sing hook that gets near it

How do u get below the dam? I always drive by but can't seem to find my way down there!

you have to take the road by the wall greens all the way down and it will eventually take you there

i went by there today. they are letting a lot of water out today. have any of you caught anything there recently ?

i was there last week lots of ppl but i didn't see anyone catch anything. That was my first time there so I was just checking it out. Next time, I'll go for cats or crappie, I was just throwing out rooster tails and trying some new lures. It's nice to find someone where more accessible without having to go to Granger.

i was there today at the spillway. caught a small 1 1/2lb flat head. a guy caught a really nice crappie .

What did he catch the crappie on, do you know? Good thing to hear there are flatties down there. That is the first one i have ever heard of! I used to fish there all the time as a kid, and only caught perch and the bottom!
