Here you go XXmikeXX, this one is for your grandad. Not the bigest in the world at 10 lbs 4 oz, but it will do. After reading your post I decided that the first double digit that I caught at Lake Arlington would be submitted as a waterbody record in memory of your grandad.. angel

On a lighter note, Chad showed up and got himself a mirror. Thats two in two days. As we were doing the pictures, I got a run and caught the waterbody and posed it with his mirror.

Today was a little slower than yesterday, but still a good day. I will be back out there tomorrow morning by 7:30. Chad looks to be back too. If anyone else is interested, come on. Get there as close to 7:30 as you can to get the area I have been baiting.

Thanks Curt0407. That's really great! Looks like I may have to head out there soon. I've been trying for quite a while to catch a mirror!

The one that Chad caught looks like its just trying to be a mirror! lol

(p.s. I would count it as one too!)

I agree that this fish looks very much like a common carp ...but it is a mirror carp...and a pretty one to
You can see that the scales are bigger than that common curt is holding..great fish..great colour to

Nice meeting you Curt. Maybe being fished 3 days straight turned them off or maybe the full moon. Who knows? Only the one fish at about 7-8 lbs. but it put up a pretty good fight. Thought it was going to be bigger. Had a couple other runs but not much action to speak of. Nice spot and weather today though.
