I went down to the spillway today to check it out and man that place is nuts.People are catching crappie down there by the bucketfuls. The water is too rough i think.Do carp like that rough quick water?

Fish the far side on the outside, straight down by the wall. Use a 2oz+ lead, strong line, and a MH+ rod. Take a cheap, long-handled net.

This ain't Euro-Style territory- You'll need a different mindset entirely. Hold your rod tight and stay ready for a yank. Wear rubber boots and clothes you don't mind getting wet and permanently stinkafied.
