Nice! I have been trying to get one at the Fisheries Center in Athens. They have a couple big ones in the cat pond.

They have a couple big ones in the cat pond. Is that the pond behind the Visitor's Center where kids fish with loaner rods? If so, I didn't realize it contains carp/koi!

Does it have carp?Will they let adults fish in there but i could take my kids and say there fishing.

Jesse did you know that both the kois in picture 4 and 6 ar MIRROR KOIS!!( I even think nr 3 but not sure)
Very nice all the kois..also love the last one fron scott ( with the big barbels..)

With picture nr 3 I cant see the scalings on the fish ( a bit blurry )
But the other 2 orange ones have almost no scales only a bit by the gils so they are mirrors
Thats very very RARE..congrats

yeah leo there may someting of everything there. heres a picture i took this year during the spawn of a koi right by my feet ...i would guess its impossible but while i snapped this picture i saw the carp and buffs very very close to each other in mating fashion

Holy moly, that's gotta be the biggest one I've ever seen! Love the thread, hopefully I'll have something to contribute to it soon. I've only seen one koi in real life, in the water at Ghostie. But alas, I couldn't get it to strike my floating crust. EDIT: I think it might be the one you posted Brett. It looks about the same size as the one I saw and it was goldfish orange too.
