I have used A1 grass before and their prices were fair. Been a while though since I have bought any.

I bought my sod from Fort Worth Grass and Stone in Fort Worth. They are located off of I35W in between Heritage Trace Parkway and North Tarrant Parkway.

it's a little late to lay bermuda sod. won't get established before it freezes. try annual rye grass seed. will give you grass throughout the winter.

If your going to put Bermuda down, just make sure that you prep the spot ..

Till soil very good, no rocks, or old grass..

Lay your sod and wet it down..After laying it, and water, and roll it !!

Make sure that the bottom of the sod, makes good contact with your soil..

Water, Water, and water more. It will do just fine, if you put it down now..

Keep it watered all winter..The grass may look dead, its not..

I put sod down all year round..
