I am just starting to use method feeders and have a quick question, what is the tubing that is on the main line above the method feeder and is it fixed?

That is anti tangle tubing . You want at least .75 mm for easier threading. Make it at least twice the length of the hooklink. It is not fixed.

Is that the actual name of it? where can I buy this tubing?

Rig tube or Anti Tangle Tube.

A good tip to know when using anti tangle tubing is to cut the tubing at an angle and it will go into the tail rubber a lot easier

thanks for the tip about angle cutting .i ended up using my bait needle to pull it thru the rubber lol ... ....another words you dont have to put the rubber on the swivel ? mine was sliding so i tied a rubber band above it to keep it in place so that not needed ? (to keep in place) ?

a semi fixed blot rig will have the swivel shoved up into the lead or lead clip

a running rig will have the line running through the lead but not fixed
