I am just starting to use method feeders and have a quick question, what is the tubing that is on the main line above the method feeder and is it fixed?

That is anti tangle tubing . You want at least .75 mm for easier threading. Make it at least twice the length of the hooklink. It is not fixed.
thanks for the tip about angle cutting .i ended up using my bait needle to pull it thru the rubber lol ... ....another words you dont have to put the rubber on the swivel ? mine was sliding so i tied a rubber band above it to keep it in place so that not needed ? (to keep in place) ?
