I've been noticing an increase in the number of "for sale" Kayaks and Canoes posted here lately, and it kind of clutters the other topics at times, and I know people post here instead of the classifieds because they target the group.

Would there be an interest in having a Kayak classifieds as a sub topic in the Kayak topic, kind of like they have above the other forums?

Just seems it would clean up and organize this forum more, and having to keep from posting in the regular classifieds section, and in a way targeting a group that is already here, and cater to the kayakers who are known to wheel and deal.

It's a fact that the Texas kayakers forum has a classifieds that is pretty popular so what say you?

I would agree to seeing something like kayaks and kayak gear.

I recently had one for sale on here and it would be nice to have a kayaks and kayak gear. There are so many post on the classified that things get lost on there.

They do get lost, and end up several pages back, and most of the time people looking for kayaks and gear are looking for a certain model or style, and if they were lumped into one forum it would make it easier to buy and sell in my opinion.

I vote the opposite - leave things alone as the few "for sale" posts often turn into a 'say hey' and that helps the community.

This K forum is working really well.

Why not just make it a "FLOATERS & PADDLERS" classified. Those of us who have toons or tubes may be intrested in adding to our fleet. This way it targets our groups and keeps these post from being lost in the mix.

I'd like to see a seperate section under the kayaks tab. Will get much more traffic and interest.

I don't get here near as much as I would like and would really love to see a classified section for us paddlers of all descriptions.

Don't look like it would happen with 138 looks, and only 8 or 9 replies!
