I'm not married but if I did have a wife I would turn it around and tell her something like, "Well you do too much shopping." Or whatever she does most of but I would say it in a nice joking way.
A friend of mine told me the secret to a good marriage is staying out of each other's hair. So a man needs hobbies like fishing. Something to get out of the house and away from the wife for a little while. Just don't tell her that though.

I go fishing a least once a week now and my lady doesn't mind as long I bring fish back. I guess I'm lucky , but when I get my kayak soon, she may never see me again!

I'm glad me and the old man love fishing together. One of us gets our feelings hurt if the other goes fishing while the other can't. Like today...while I'm at work and he's sending me text pics of what he's catching. It's just cruel.

I'm glad my wife loves to fish as much (possibly more) than I do lol.......... You will KNOW when she thinks it's "TOO MUCH." When you're at your favorite fishin hole and a fella with a badge hands ya a set of papers lol.............

Yeah, four things I totally enjoy - Fishing (obviously), Surfing, Riding my motorcyle, and spending time with my family. Take any of those away and Rob ain't a happy man, hahaha.
