I was doing some research online and came across three different pics showing the same view of the Morris Shepard Dam at Possum Kingdom Lake. However, notice the difference in the Brazos River flow (below the dam) between each of the pictures. Thought this was pretty cool and worth posting.

This stretch of the river is a popular fishing area and the subject of many posts here on TFF.

Cool pics. I wonder how long it would take to get to Rochells in that last picture.

I launched from Rochelles one time when it was high and in the canoe I was doing 7mph( measured with GPS) without paddling. I just steered to go straight. Never had to drag my canoe.

Hey Shane, what do you think the flow rates are in each of the three different pics?

We ought to do that trip sometime in our canoe and kayaks Butch, PK to Tin Top.

Those are great pics B Rod. I especially like that second one where you can see the yellow bluffs way downstream. Wish I was there now. Great weather for it.

1000-2000 CFS in the first two pics and 25,000-30,000 CFS in the last.
