Well, "Around the Forum will be taking a few weeks off.....no no not to just take a Break, but to make way for 3 Special "Day On The Water" articles.
1st things 1st, "Around The Forum" will have a new look when it returns. It will not strictly be based in the Bass section and will start venturing out to other Forum Sections.
I have some Carp,Catfish,Sand Bass ect trips lined up. This will allow me to expand and show the TFF as a whole not a section.
Friday, I will do a Sand Bass trip with John Varner, with a guy who has never been on a guide trip.
That's what "Around The Forum" needs to be about, and I can't wait to meet some great anglers and show case what this forum really has to offer.
Now, the 3 "Day On The Water" write up will be from Lake Amistad Lake Sam Rayburn Choke Cannon Lake.
I will announce these as they get closer.
Dallas Williams did WIN the Choke Cannon trip and I failed to inform him early enough about the trip so his trip will be pushed till about Spring, but will be going on one as soon as scheduling permits.
The other Winners, thanks for your patients as it's tough to plan trips around 3 peoples schedules, but they are getting there.
So here are some Fall Tips from Tom Redington about fall fishing, and a look into the new Ranger Z521.
We also are showing off some Big Bite Baits, and I have some to give out aswell.
Here is a preview of the New "Around The Forum" intro for the bass section. I need more pics of other non Bass fish if you guys have some.

hey casey I am a big fan of the shaky head rig. What is your preference on shaky head hooks? (size hook, weight, brand) Also I was wondering if you have tried these worms on a drop shot rig. It looks like they would work pretty well. Thanks casey and would love to get my hands on some of those Kreit tail worms.

Sorry Robert, that stash was depeleted nothing to see here, carry on LOL!!!
I picked some Big Bite Baits a year or two back for a Club raffle. A kid in our Club took them out to a City Lake in Omaha and caught a 24" bass that was over 8lbs. Huge for that area. I really like the looks of the Kriet Squirrel tails.

I think the tank demo for those worms would be great. On your shaky head jigs do you like the round heads or the flat heads that stand up? Also what is the difference between regular eye of the hook vs flat eye (same thing with jigs) Thanks Casey!
The big question that I want to know is what in the world was all the stuff that dude threw in the water at 1:50 into my Walk the Dog video? Might be the missing evidence in the Robby Rose case?!
