Great paddling; terrible fishing. Virtually zero wind on Sunday morning made for some easy paddling and all areas of lake available. Started out with topwater behind marina in Twin Coves - no hits. Switched to lipless crank - no hits. Tried working north shoreline from Twin Coves to the west with lipless crank and Texas-rigged plastic worm - no hits. Paddled out to underwater humps near the rock crusher to try slabbing for white bass - no hits. Trolled deep diving crankbait along north shoreline back to Twin Coves - no hits. Finally, after four hours of good exercise but no fish, got a decent sized largemouth to hit a shallow running crankbait about 20 yards from where I put in near Sneaky Pete's (of course, he jumped and spat the lure out). Other fishermen in boats and on shore also reported few, if any, catches.

I was at Murrell Park trolling around for whites too. Only one sandbass right in front of the submerged ramp.

Marked lots of fish in the finder but no takers.

Lots of carps and buffalos crashing everywhere.
