I went out to Bryant Irvin part of trinity on saturday.
The current was pretty strong, i figured i would not have much luck at all.
i actually ended up having a great time out there. i chummed the water with corn, and in like fifteen minutes i was pulling in Carp after Carp.
i was nailing one every ten minutes it was awesome. no huge ones , but they were fun to catch.
good times.

i could not see anything in the water. it was moving pretty fast on some parts . i would cast and my line would drift way down with the current.
it was weird because the fish would not jerk my line. i waited until the line went slack, then pulled on the rod and almost every time i would have one on the line.
also there were no turtles at all.

what kind of bait were you fishin with?

corn

Cool! I used to fish there a lot a few years ago, and several times I caught ten or more fish in just a couple hours. It was always a reliable place for me in the winter.

Heck that place is a hop skip and a jump away from me, need to check it out
