Should be good weather for it this week, if there's enough water.

i wish i knew what to tell ya. somebody here can possibly help you out. you probably know, but even if they release water you can still go back upstream. you wont get washed down to waco or nothing like that. good luck, & let us know how the trip goes

You can always get current cfs release #'s at www.brazos.org and you can call the Brazos River Authority and ask if they have any big releases planned for the times you will be there.

Well made it there about 7 this morning.great weather, and some of the nicest people you can meet! water was moving kind of fast, made it real hard to do and up and back.so just fished the calm from the take out up about 1 mile. like i said ir was my first time to dicks so dont really know where the good spots are. only boated on 12 incher. my wife ended up falling and hurting her self on the takeout spot due to the mud. they didnt have to but they gave our next trip on the house, very very nice of them. it looks like a good place to catch fish, hopefully next time we will have better luck. also his wife has a little pottery barn where she makes and sells her work. she found out that we became grandparents last week and gave us some pottery angels for free for our grandson. like i said super nice people. and i will go back many, many times.next time will use there bed & breakfast.
