I just bought my boat new last April and the trailer came without a spare and i didnt even think about having them add it in when i bought the boat. I have bought a bracket to hold a spare on the trailer frame but dont have the spare wheel and tire yet. Academy has the right size wheel/tire combo but it is $130. I figure i can find it cheaper than that. I need a 13" wheel and the tire needs to be a 175ST 80D13. I looked at WalMart a year ago and they told me they didnt carry that size of trailer tire/wheel and he said it would be hard to find. Tractor supply has it but they are higher than Academy, i think they want $170 for the wheel/tire combo. I dont mind spending $130 at Academy if that is a good price but i have been told that is realy high. And $130 seems high to me for just sitting on my trailer as a spare. Any one know a place i might find a wheel/tire combo like this at that would be cheaper?

ck with your local trailer dealer. the wheel shouldnt be more than 25 or 30 bucks and the tire about the same.
