Paint looks good Rodney..and I dont mean to be negative, but just a question in general, about silver painting.

I fish a unpainted jig head, probably more than a painted one. Is there any silver paint, that is that much different, than just plain lead.

It is brighter just not sure if thats a plus or not Guess really depends on the individual fishes mood and it does have a metallic metal flake appearance and that added flash may help or may hurt the jury is still out till we fish it smile

I agree with Roger. However I like the silver glitters. Try mixing some glitters in and see what you get. Good looking jig though. I don't name my jigs just cuss them if they don't catch, But looks like a Darth Vader to me.

I agree on the glitter. Even 2 or 3 colors of glitter. bouncy

I was disappointed in my first batch of silver glitter
heads , looked too much like unpainted,

I have used it as a topcoat , really looks good over dark
colors like blue and black.

I like to use the color Pearl Pepper from TJ's anytime I want to make one that looks silvery. Here's the like. It's nice. Ruby Slipper isn't half bad either for the red with a flash. thumb

You should try chrome.
Use a primer coat (Krylon) and then Krylon Chrome.

I know it's not that fancy powder paint grin but it works great. You may want to use a clear coat afterwards.

Lots of work? Maybe.
But you'll have the only jig heads on the market that you can use to check/fix your wind blown hair. thumb
