I hear they are killing them on top waters early in the morning and there are balls of shad later in the day in 17ft of water easy to see on eletronics jigging spoons and c-rigs by the dam area.

went this morning couldnt find any serious top-water action but the sure do love them little green worms mostly in 5-12ft of water, put a dozen in the boat by noon and called it a day. Will be going back tomorrow

idk, but i got off the fone with my buddy, and we planned a trip to fayette, probably the weekend of the 14th! that is if the weather holds out. hopefully we can finnally catch some fish at that lake! bastrop is a possibility for this coming weekend, maybe on sunday.
