i eat boudain all the time and am wondering if any here do and if so how do you make it? i like to butterfly a pork tenderloin and roll boudain up in it and put it on the pit.......another of my fave ways is to make a little batter and dip it and fry..........i'm looking for some ideas on other ways to..........what have you got? thanks

First thing you gotta do is learn how to spell BOUDIN! I like mine on a cracker with some mustard.

well the one that i buy from the store spells it boudain so thats how i'm spelling it! lol i dont care how you spell it it sure is good

It is Boudin, I was raised on the stuff. Too much trouble to make it. Every time we make a trip home to South Louisiana, we bring back 100+lbs depending on what the neighbors and friends want. Can't beat Guillory's market in Pine Prairie, La.: http://www.guillorys-specialtymeats.com

I agree its dang good stuff!When ever i fire up the pit or grill,i'll throw on a couple packs.I've been wanting to bacon wrap it and grill or smoke it,if my heart can take it.LOL

Best place to get it is outside Lafayette in Scott, LA, at Best Stop Supermarket. Take the Scott exit, go north about a mile, and it's on your left...
I picked up 30 pounds last weekend...

I have two favorite locales for buying BOUDIN. Strohe's Meat Market in Welsh and Boudin King in Jennings. If I could only pick one it would be the Boudin King.
