Wanted to check and see if anyone has been out latley sincve the rain and Lavon and Hubbard are both open. I would figure that they would be somewhere in the 8'-14' range in an area least affected by the current. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

on lavon we have been fishing in front of the dam 30' of water spider rigging minnows. on hubbard I have been fishing docks(Bayview on F and H docks. From 12-20 ft of water not killing them but steady 10-15 keepers in 5 hrs. We have been using finess jigs (alwire) or pink head and salt and pepper. Hitting it on the drop.

We found them on 20ft piles today. Couldn't get anything on timber 16-5 in coves.

try the pilings on 66. start shallow. fish fast. only spend 1-2 minutes per piling and move on. most sit on the middle piling. pink head[ black chart body. i have a lot of trouble with minnows there for some reason. might be cause im to jittery and get bored to fast.... i just prefer to jig and cover more water.
