Have two male pups (approx.8-10 weeks old). Best guess is that they are lab majority but are mixed. They are black with a couple of white socks on them. They were found in the county of Ellis. Red Oak to be more precise. Took them to the Ellis county SPCA and told them they were found in a flooded ditch huddled together.(they are from the same litter, exact same size). Myself and my neighbor were told we would have to pay 40 dollars for each pup in order for them to take them. Our county sheriff animal control said they would not take them unless they were a danger to people. We were told to put them back if we did not want them. please call 972-816-7544 (luis)

Thats outrageous. I cant beleive that the county wont take them. I remember the good old days when we cared for domestic animals when the were in danger, not only when they were a danger. Good luck man.

We are still not believing it. He gave us a number to his supervisor. He hopes enough people will complain, so he can start picking them up again.

bump Come on folks these little guys need someone they can trust and love. It's an awful sad story for them. I would take one but I'm tapped out on dogs. Currently have 5 myself.

BUMP for these pups.
Hopefully some fresh eyes that can help will see this. I wish I had the room.

I'm sure the county would let you pay more taxes to take care of pets.
