Guys, I just wanted to tell you all about my first ever boat claim. I hit a submerged item with my 2007 ZX 225 and damaged the lower unit and prop on my Yamaha 225. I took it to the local dealer and the determined I need a new prop and new lower unit. We called Geico made the claim and they requested the dealer send 8 pictures and I write a letter of what occured. The next day after pictures and faxed letter were received, they printed and mailed me the check minus my deductible. It was the easiest, greatest service I have ever received. I know one might be able to save a bit over the Geico boat insurance, but you will never find easier hassle free repairs on your rig. Thanks Geico
