anybody know of any spots around brazoria county where i can bankfish and catch some cats??

Used to be a lake down there called Eagle Nest where i used to fish at with my dad when i was younger, don't know if ya still can fish that lake or not but it was a great catfish lake.

There arent' any public lakes. Everything down there is privately owned. There are a few rice canals that we used to fish though. Like the one off of CR45 and CR48 near the sherrifs office. Other than that is the Brazos, San Bernard, Oyster Creek and Buffalo Bayou. We used to catch quite a few in Buffalo Bayou on dip baits but we used a canoe or jon boat.

There is also the canal behind McClean Park in LJ. Also Austin Bayou off 2004.
