I was talking to a fellow that came into my store about how lake McQueeny was such a well kept secret and how well we used to do out there before the last public boat ramp was closed. I have done some research and found that this lake has been stocked with several share lunker adults along with lots of fry size and fingerling sharelunker bass. This man told me that there was still a way to get a boat on the lake, said you had to take some dirt road that leads to the far north end of the lake and it is a pretty sketchy boat ramp, but it is the only to get on. I remebered someone else saying there was a way but you had to have a 4x4. If anyone knows how to get a boat on this lake please let me know. If so, i will be more than happy to take you out on my boat and use my truck to get us there. I have had great success on this lake and would really like to get back out there. The last time i went i took two of my closest friends, and in under three hrs. of fishing we all caught atleast on 5+lb fish with the largest pushing 8lbs, by far the best fishing results i have seen in such a short time.
