If you only had to pick 1 month to fish Lady Bird Lake for your best chance of catching a really big fish, what month would you choose and why? Also, which areas of the lake would you target?

This would be rod and reel only.

I didn't think about it before, but it's probably best not to mention the target areas, just the best month would do.

My PB came from there in March. I guess I'd have to say March.

January, Feb and March for a big fish.

Jan & Feb can be very tough fishing if the water is cold.

I can blank every month of the year, so I'd say October or March, when the weather is good! wink

Best months? April through March.

Thanks. I'll probably try March.
