Fished Aquilla today....

Was tough today... 1 short fish.. Lake level at the top of the Dairy Hill ramp. Old School ramp under water. Lake is very Muddy, just as it was last week. At essentially the same level it was last Saturday... But, it dropped 3 feet in the middle of the week and then came back up.

Last Saturday 10/17 had a great day, the water was 68 degrees versus 64 today...

We did not see birds today as we did last week. Last week we had an eagle or osprey diving. There were a few shad where we fished today, but last week there had been lots of shad and the bass were close by in the shallows.

We fished crank baits, worms, and spinner baits. the only fish came on the worm.

Just a tough day. Wind also came up early today.

Fished the same day and only caught 3. They were all good fish though to about 5 lbs. But, 5 1/2 hours and only 3 fish.
