We are having our first annual PK West Fest at Possum Kingdom Lake on November 14th. One of the events is a Bass Fishing Tournament going out of Bass Hollow Lodge. This is a team tournament, but you can have a one man team. (Entry fee will be the same, with 100% payback.) Bring your family. There will be booths, bands, childrens activities, home tours, pancake breakfast car show and much more to keep them intertained. Bass Hollow Lodge will have special room rates for this weekend. How many teams are expected and whats the entry fee for this?

We hope we can get at least 20 teams. Entry fee is $100.00 per team (one or two is considered a team). $10.00 big bass optional. If we can get 20 teams the pay back will be 1,000.00 first, 600.00 second, 400.00 third

What is the entry fee's and times

Entry fee is $100.00 per team (1or2 people), $10.00 Big Bass (optional). Start time is 7:00-4:00 Registration is at Bass Hollow Lodge (in the store), before 8:00 p.m. Friday and starting at 6:30 a.m Saturday.

do you have to onload at bass and is it shoot gun start or can you be on the water at a certan time

You can unload on any ramp and starting fishing at 7:00 a.m.. Weigh-in is at Bass at 4:00 p.m. In line at no later than 4:00.

No off limit days. Just be off the lake by 6:00 p.m. Friday Nov 13th.

How did it go...

I heard 14lbs and change won it. Only 10 or 11 boats...wish I could have made it.

Richard Lancast and Mike Davis came in with 14.71 for first, Brent Judd 13.51 for second and Michael Teskey and Jeff Hartong came in with 13.48 for third. Big Bass 5.78 was brought in by Ray Harley and Brad Haymes (12.83 total). Bluebird skies and no wind made for a tough day for keepers 16 inches. Naturally a lot of 15 3/4 was caught. Everyone was happy with the tournament and is looking forward to the next one. Hopefully in the spring. One team reported having 22 lbs Friday prefishing, but came in with 10.48 during tournament. You just never know!!

sounds about like the jackpot on Arrowhead..(if not for this we would have been there)
And I did not know PK had a size limit..see how long its been since I've been to my all time favorite lake..
