I have been fishing Lake Fork for about 10 years now looking for the new state record. Well, I found it in the newspaper under a realtors ad. Check out the second listing on this page.

Surely you could turn a Texas state record bass into a million dollars, so you are really only half a million in.

Now, where did I put my checkbook and my crankbait box?

It just made me laugh that someone actually advertised that they had a 4 acre pond with 20 lb bass in it. A little over zealuous marketing. I looked up the listing on their website and it claims to hold only 10 to 15 lb bass. It has a photo of a guy posing with a skinny 5 lb to prove it. Just goes to prove that fish stories grow even in advertising.

Tell them you need 45 days to close but you need a temp lease. Then you can get your 20 pounder and then not close.

Okay, as of right now there are 44,541 registered TFF members... That is less than $35 bucks each and we could have a TFF retreat! If there is 890,820 pounds of bass in that lake we could each catch our 20lbrs!
