I'm sure there are alot of others wondering the same thing.

Maybe things got tight for him financially and he talked himself into it just that one time... people will do strange things for money. That's a shame.

Nope, there has been talk about him for a long time. People were watching. Why hasn't he fished Bass Champs lately ????? Ask around, you'll find out why.

I normally fish Central division and fished North division that one year because of Cedar Creek, the only guys I knew were the old Angler's Choice guys.

Sure does make you wonder about every win he has had.

Strange he was sooo good at this level but never aspired for the next level. Maybe he knew he could not hang?

I was there and there were way too many game wardens and local sheriffs meeting with the poly examiner. Somnething was up.

I have had poly exams before, but this was the first one I had seen done on a lap top. The software computed whether you were deceptive, not the examiner. Hats off to the Bud Light crew for taking every efferth to make this a fair event.

+1 to the bud light trail, My first big bass T and heck they treated me like I won. with my lil ole 1.32 lbs fish. My heart goes out to RR family, however it makes me sick to my stomach see a good fisherman gone bad..

...consistently finishing in the 100's and 200's.

But somehow winning every tournament in North Texas.

This guy has been cheating for a long long time. Once a cheater, always a cheater.

I bet he has been tying bass up for many years, and goes and get them and bring them to weigh in.

He finally got caught, he probably had the 2nd biggest fish of the day, but Greed got the best of him and he had to stuff a bowling ball in the fishes belly and try to win the boat.

It probably started with tying up fish. Once that worked for him and he passed the polys, he probably thought he could get away with just about anything.

Priceless!! sounds like he makes himself out to be real religious so maybe people would not suspect him of cheating? if that is the case, he deserves all the punishment hes going to get! being a liar or a cheat is bad enough, but trying to use God to cover that up is about as low as one can go, in my opinion. sure gonna be tough on judgement day bud!

Talk about a marble sack, I hope the only fishing this dude gets to do is in the pen through the crapper system. But he will probably wind up getting probation, $500 fine, and 30 hours community service which will be teaching troubled kids how to fish. Glad to see a cheater get caught and for those that have been doing it also let this serve as a warning shot!!!!!!!!!

To apologize to his family I call bull carp, he never gave his family one ounce (no pun intended) of consideration while he was doing this. He knew his intent was to cheat and he did so with no regard to his family.

I did not know Robbie, but read some of his replies in the off topic section and thought to myself he is a arrogant piece of sh@t. He should be banned from this site for his actions. I know we all should forgive him for this since the lord will deal with him later, but I just cannot stand a cheater and a thief. This is just my thoughts.

I don't want to make any tourney trail look bad. This was brought on by himself and will probably face a felony charge for contest fraud. Look at his top finishes page, and you have to ask how many of these events was he fishing solo?

Poor judgement? I would say that is an understatement. His life as he knows it is over and all for a few extra bucks. Sad.
