Heading out to Fayette tonight for a little night fishing at the dam. I will give a full report hopefully with pics on Monday. Wish me luck!

Fished Fayette Friday and today. Friday got pretty windy but we were still able to pick up a few good fish. We fished the intake area early in the morning and caught a few good ones off the baffle dike. Once the sun came up we started hitting the edges of grass beds with a weightless senko and picked up about ten more between two of us. We headed over to the discharge and caught one on a c-rig about 4 lbs.

Today was a great day to be on the lake. It was nice and cool this morning with very little wind. We started off at the intake again and caught 3 right at sunrise. After that the bite slowed down for us. We went to the east side of the dam and threw some more c-rigs and picked up 2 more good ones down there. Tried to fish some grass but not much luck there. We were fishing in a tournament with Kids Unlimited and my kiddo apparently didnt like to worm fish....the last spot we hit was the left side of the intake at the corner. Picked up a 3 and 4 pounder on a c-rig Power worm.

Alot of the other guys in the tournament came in with 20 + fish but we didnt get that lucky. The winner had 39 fish total. From what i hear he was fishing grass all day. Anyhow the fishing is getting really good out there!
