All the time Ive been tying, I have only used a ball/round head jig.After seeing all the fine work you folks have shown with the minnow shape,I finally joined the ranks !!! Also wanted to play with some of the darter heads too . Got some minnow in 1/8 th and 1/16 th. Sure wish I had ordered the 1/8 with a # 2 hook.Doesnt leave much hook on a #4. Havent got to tie much with them yet,butI think Im going to like them and the darter looks to be very promising !!

Pat,thats some of the new age chenille.One of my favorites also.I got that one from Crazy Angler..
Its his #421 "baitfish"..

Roger,
Great looking! The only jig I tie for myself with deer hair is the shad dart. No body, just the hair. I used to buy them from Cabelas before I started tying my own. They are hands down one of the best fish catching jigs out there.

Hey Rad, where did you get those collarless minner head jigs? Do you have a mold? And, if'n ya do have a mold, where did ya get it. I can't find any minner head or aspirin head molds without a collar. It's a big pain in the posterior to cut off them collars!
