OK - I'll bite - how far can you guys throw a washer? Dryer, yeah - maybe 5 feet or so on a good day, but washers? Them're HEAVY !
Help me understand......

There's nothing funnier than watching someone play either game after a few drinks !

pretty simple game, 2 pvc pipe, some metal washer, try to sink the washes into the pipe...

hell we turn horseshoes into a drinking game normally... put a but can on the steak, everytime you make it "clink" the other team has to drink, if you knock the can off or to the bottom of the steak, the other team has to chug whatever they have left.... makes the game much more interesting...

Chase. It seems a pretty easy proposition to me.

Sink your pvc pipe into the ground and put a little snap on cover on it. There's covers that you can buy at Home Depot that sit flush with the end of the pipe (costs maybe a buck if that?), and you just grab a little tab thingy and they come right out. Have another pole to the side that'll fit inside the pipe that's in the ground and you've got a horse shoe pole.

Why are the horse shoes so big.... I never understood that...

Anyways, build a set of washer boards, takes more to make them stick than a sand pit, biut I think it's a northern thing. We play on a board with one hole and y'all play on a board with three or in a sand pit... Hmmm

I still have got around to putting this in yet. no money!

I would much rather play washers on a slanted (single hole) board, but no real way to keep it outside with out it getting totally rotted in no time,

I have both... Washer boards that I can carry anywhere. In the backyard I have horseshoes. We naturally have sand out here all I had to do was stick the steak in the ground! smile
