I was fishing this small pond in the frank berea or whatever sector in spring creek park ,and my buddy and I saw this huge trout like head come up from the dingy deep water and did a slow porpoising kind of action ,so we were able to see more of its body and I nearly passed out from hyperventillating with excitement. it was pretty late in the day like 5:30 or so.I think it was a rainbow because it left a refelective glint underwater but my buddy said its probably a brownie because of the time period.

That wasn't a trout, it was likely a choupique/bowfin. If you ever get lucky enuf to hook it, DON'T PUT YOUR FINGERS IN HIS MOUTH!

Have they started stocking trout yet.....must have survived the summer
That or it was probably a carp........

If thats the park im thinking of in the woodlands, off flintridge , it might be a bowfin, ive heard from several people there is some in there....

Bowfin !!!!! They will tear line off a reel quick and are a blast to catch
