Does anyone one here fish Decker for the Hybrids. I really want to start fishing for the Hybrids out of the kayak. I have never fished this lake and would rather try it with another kayaker.

Maybe anchor up with some live perch in the colder months. I have a pond with small, medium, and large perch.

Only once... The wind really picked up when I was near the middle point. I stayed dry all the way to the bank. Once I hit the bank, a wave crashed over the back of my yak and I got soaked. I haven't been back there since, mainly because of the cost to get in now and I can fish closer for cheaper or even free. Where else do you/ would you fish? I usually fish Granger and I am going to try to get out there early tomorrow morning.

I fish granger also. But I don't fish for largemouths. Fish for whites and mainly cats in the river. How about you.

I mostly fish for crappie, whites, and cats usually in that order unless one is spawning upriver then I'll target them specifically. I also fish the main lake too. I am going to launch from Taylor park in the morning.

There is a tourney there next Sunday for crappie and/or cats. Check out grangergang.com if you are interested.

I have been wondering about Decker, usually go to Lady Bird or Bastrop for LMB, but Hybrids would be a lot of fun on a flyrod.
