That's alright. LOP has come up 3 ft in 3 days and that's just the beginning of the runoff that will come in from the watershed! We have had over a foot of rain in the last week!

Yep those gates are open.

Caught bunches of fish today, (Big Hybrids, limits on the White Bass and Crappie).



But for the Crappie, we kinda started late today on those.

First place we looked was in the main lake area (where we had been cathin em) - but with the gates just open that was BAD, BAD – BAD

So we continued to catch Hybrids and White Bass as we worked out of the main lake.

As we got back under the 287 Bridge heading up the Chambers Creeks side, we hit one more brush piles before we went in - and guess what we hit some (So here is the key - as we got further from those gates - I think it will be better, as it was today).

So - I'm thinking - if those gates stay open and as they open more - get as far up the Richland Arm or the Chambers Arm and get away from those gates.

See you all there. Wondering if the marina has boat slips for rent. Anyone know? Anybody checked on that? All assistance appreciated. If not can we pay the launch fees in advance to avoid standing in a line to pay our launch fees Friday and Saturday morning? Like to launch my boat tomorrow and not have to worry about launching Friday and Saturday morning.

The gates at cc didn't hurt us today. Group of three finished with 75 crappie from docks & brush. Yea, I was actually suprised they did so well.

I think the fish are just ready to eat again!

My folks were scheduled for Thursday – but I was also open today (Wednesday) – and with the front tomorrow they switched to today.

Yea my guys were real nervous because of all the talk about gates being open. Like you said you just gotta go try it. It's nice to get a good suprise.

I know a few who are doing that. Good deal if there are any left. Be sure to tell Paul if you do.

I think Ahn said it best, "levels the playing field". My mind is racing for what ifs on the location of the fish. Tight to the brush or trees with tight lips, suspended with lock jaw?

Tommorrow should have early south wind shifting to the north for the remainser of the tourney about 1-2pm. 5-15 is my guess.
