Hey guys, gonna try my luck on texoma saturday for some striper.Just wanted to ask any veteran kayakers out there are there any spots i can go and have some good luck w/out getting mauled over by power boats,or any areas i should flat out avoid.

Ive been hearing good things about platter flats area recently may try there 1st.Any ideas encouraged.thanks

Little Dixie is this weekend so there will be bassboat traffic and nice weather will bring out the cruisers. I would suggest a " NO WAKE" area like Eisenhower,Grandpappy , Alberta or Catfish.

try walnut creek marina, its in a real protected cove and I already got a couple smallmouth, sandbass, and striper from there

thanks for the reply guys i hope the big game will keep some of the folks off the water.

also does my kayak need to be registered since ill be on texoma.
