around 30 lbs. when you catch them that big put him back. nice catch. did it feel like you were reeling in a 55 gal. barrel?

Really nice fish there angler josh.!!!!! Great fish as a matter of fact!! I would say 30+ if you are an average sized fella. Those $5 dollar basspro scales are actually pretty good for giving you a rough estimate on weights. Congrats on the big blue! Did she give ya a good fight from the bank? Once again great fish & congrats!

The cat was an awesome fight but i have to be honest if it was a 30 to 40lb carp there would have been way more drag pulling. Although i think i may bring an extra rod next outing and try to hook in another one.

Those freshwater drum also can make you think you have a good blue on at times if you get a hold of one over 10lb. They're are built alot like a trophy bass. Really pretty fish man. I'd say he was pushing 30. Did you get a measurement of length by chance?
