Are you guys using two anchors to stay in position or is there a technique to keep the boat from swaying back and fourth?

what we do is put 100 ft of rope in the back let it out and then toss out a front anchor wich is tied to 50 ft of rope and then we will pull the back rope tight and tie it off it works really well. i hope this helps.

I use 2 anchors. Something else I have seen is in the shallow water, use 2-10 ft. pieces of metal conduit and push in the muddy bottom on both sides of the back of the boat and just anchor the front. The metal conduit stuck in the mud on both sides of the back of the boat keeps it from swaying from side to side. Hope this helps!

I have used the same method that Charles B. is using. I also keep 200ft of smaller rope that I will use to tie off either the front or the back of the boat then use the anchor on the other end. I will drop the anchor, motor forward to the tie up spot, tie up and pull myself taunt between the anchor and the tie up point.

if your fishing in shallow i use a pipe about 7 foot and hammer it in the ground and i use an anchor on the bow.

i just use two anchors one in front and one in back i also carry two more anchors just in case the wind gets up
