anyone been out to conroe lately?

Went out today 530am-900am and got a few hybrids on 1 1/2oz slabs and then downsized for a little bit and caught a few crappie.Windy and a little rough on main lake but we fished the backside of the island and hooked up in 13-17'.It felt good with the cool weather.

sounds like a blast! I haven't got into the hybrids much at conroe, I usually get into the cats. I went with Tex Bonin, a guide, last spring and was wondering if anybody has had any luck lately. I'm hoping to make a trip here in the next few weeks or so.
